Maharaj Ji has students from all over the world who have benefited from his teachings. There have been 160 books written about his teachings and techniques including 22 in English. Many audio CD’s as well as DVD's are also available of his teachings. He does not promote himself and the work to disseminate his teachings as well as this website has been done by his thankful devotees. One devotee has compiled a 20 minute story of his life entitled,

Swami Ji's personal lifestyle and concern for humanity is evident by his tireless selfless service. His message is simple; 'Know Thyself' ... and his techniques to attaining this knowledge are as vast as the ocean.

Under his guidance, many have been led to recognize the eternal divinity that resides within each and every one of us. Swami Ji tells us that we are the Ocean, but that momentarily we have forgotten who we are and think that we are an individual wave instead. We are in the process of remembering our true essence. It is through understanding and experiencing ourselves that we can attain our true Soul Consciousness and remember who we are and why we have come here. It is then that we may be the playful wave that knows it is the Ocean, and retain a deep peace within the Oneness.

Akhand Paramdham (APD) is a non-profit organization that fosters numerous service programs and manages Swami Paramanand Ji's vast array of social projects. Residential programs for underprivileged children and those who may be physically and/ or mentally challenged have been very effective and continue to expand.

Entire villages that are alternatives to orphanages, women's shelters and old age homes are in successful operation and are being implemented in every state. These are but a few of the many programs APD is operating that uplift those in need. The organization also strives to support those who are on a dedicated spiritual path, so that they may truly awaken. Once we are awake it is natural to assist others in need. Swami Paramanand Ji says that unless someone has their basic needs taken care of it is difficult to focus on one's spiritual development.

Akhand Paramdham is derived from the names of of Swami Paramanand himself and his Guru Sri Akhandanand Ji Maharaj. Akhand means unbroken. Anand means Bliss. Param means Supreme. Dham means abode. Akhand Paramdham means: Abode of the Unbroken Supreme, or That where the Absolute dwells.
